Because every gesture counts
Plantation
Manoir Belle Plage acquired an overgrown plot of land behind the hotel to rebuild the ecosystem. As part of the carbon offset service provided by the SARGIM plant production workers’ cooperative, we planted 2,000 trees there in 2021. Today, we’ve planted over 3,000 trees: sugar maples, noble trees and… fruit trees! Our aim is to encourage local consumption by developing U-pick and processing our own fruit in our kitchen to include in our breakfast offer.
This initiative leaves a precious legacy for future generations: we have recreated a true ecosystem in the heart of the city, eliminating invasive species and revitalizing the environment with healthy, sustainable species.
Organic body care products
All our bathrooms are now equipped with Oneka product dispensers in the showers to eliminate single-use products. Oneka is a Quebec-based company offering organic, chemical-free and biodegradable products.
Disposal of single-use products
We have acquired equipment that eliminates single-use products and encourages bulk procurement using reusable containers. Since them, during the peak season (mid-May to mid-September), we observed a reduction in waste production equivalent to :
- 12,500 cups of milk and cream;
- 640 bottles of 1.89L juice;
- 5,000 ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise wrappers;
- 8,000 sugar, sweetener, salt and pepper wrappers;
- 950 yogurt pots (100ml);
- 12,200 peanut butter and jam cups;
- 600 butter cups.

We have 3 charging stations available for our customers! FLO charging stations are activated with the FLO card or simply with the app.

rating certification program and holds 3 green keys.
Green Key certification validates the sustainability claims made by hotel establishments. Its evaluation criteria also provide us with food for thought so that we can continue to improve.
